What's the Quality Score and why does it matter?
Every lead lands in your dashboard with a 0–100 Quality Score and a High / Medium / Low badge. The score is computed deterministically from seven signals we already have on the record: phone present, email confidence, website live status, Google review count, Google rating, photos on the listing, and data freshness. You sort, filter, or auto-export by tier before spending a credit on email enrichment. The score itself is free — it costs no extra credits and no extra wait, and it lands on every lead, including the free preview.
Can Claude, Cursor, or Claude Code use LocalLeads directly?
Yes. We ship a native MCP server: a remote endpoint at leads.postorbit.io/mcp (Streamable HTTP, OAuth 2.1 + bearer tokens — works with Claude.ai custom connectors and the Anthropic API) plus a stdio config for Claude Desktop, Cursor, and Claude Code. One-click OAuth for Claude.ai, copy-ready stdio snippet in Settings → Connectors. Tools include search_businesses, get_lead, verify_email, and the compact list ops.
Do I need to sign up to see leads?
No. Open /onboard/search, type a niche and city, and you'll get 20 pre-scored preview leads with Quality Scores on every row. No card, no email gate. Sign up only when you want to enrich and export.
How does billing actually work?
1 credit = 1 business result. Email enrichment costs 1 extra credit only when it finds a verified address — failed enrichments are free. If a search returns no results, you're not charged. If results are a high-duplicate or out-of-radius mess, report it from the dashboard and we'll refund the credits within one business day. That's the Fair Credit Policy.
What does pricing look like?
Three tiers: Starter (free, no card, 20 preview leads with Quality Score), Professional (€15.83/mo on annual — 1,200 credits/month + MCP + Quality Score filters), and Business (€41.66/mo on annual — 5,000 credits/month + full API + team OAuth for MCP + dedicated support). Plus pay-as-you-go credit packs (250 / 500 / 1,000 / 2,500) from €3.75 / $4.49 / £3.49 — no subscription required, credits never expire. Currency detected server-side (EUR / USD / GBP), charged via PayPal.
How accurate are the emails and phones?
Email enrichment runs syntax + MX + mailbox checks before the address lands in your export. Real-world deliverability sits around the 90–95% range on most B2B campaigns, lower in regions where SMBs use generic webmail. Phones come from Google Business Profile data and are accurate at roughly the same rate Google itself maintains.
How is this different from Outscraper, Apify, Apollo, Lobstr, Scrap.io, or PhantomBuster?
Outscraper and Apify are pay-per-business scrapers — they give you raw rows and leave qualification to you. Apollo is a global B2B database, strong on enterprise titles but weak on the local SMB long tail. LocalLeads is built for the local long tail and ships every lead with a deterministic 0–100 Quality Score so you can gate credit spend on the businesses worth contacting. Plus a native MCP server for Claude, Cursor, and the AI sales stack — none of the others have that yet.
Is this legal? Is it GDPR-compliant?
LocalLeads extracts publicly accessible business listing data — the same information any visitor to Google Maps can see. For downstream cold email to EU contacts, you're responsible for establishing a lawful basis (typically 'legitimate interest' for B2B outreach to professional addresses) and including a clear unsubscribe mechanism. We never send mail from the platform — emails are validated, not warmed. Consult your own counsel for high-volume EU outreach; we publish a soft-bounce / unsubscribe guide in the docs.
